Janis Yergan has more than 20 years of health care experience at the regional executive level working with academic, profit, not-for-profit, mission-driven and specialty hospitals. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of Business Development at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, a Catholic Healthcare West facility. Prior to that, she was associate administrator, Business Development, with Centinela Hospital Medical Center, the official hospital for all of the major sports teams in Los Angeles, as well as a regional executive for Business Development for Tenet Health Systems, where she had oversight for the development activities of 15 hospitals in six counties. She was also network development executive for OrNda Health Systems and vice president of rthe USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, an National Cancer Institute designated cancer center which is part of the USC health science campus. Yergan has also worked for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word at St. Bernadine Medical Center, which is home to some of the most significant programs in cardiac, neurosciences and transplantation in the state of California.
Yergan is also a board memember of the International Non-Profit Partnership with Latin America; chairman of the board for the Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation; a member of the National Association of Health Service Executives; a board member of the YMCA, Los Angeles, California; a board member of the Youth and Family Center, Los Angeles, California; and a board member of the American Heart Association. |
